18th Century Colonial Bathroom Remodel

This project was a full renovation to a bathroom addition added on to a 1740’s house. The Owners wanted to maintain and incorporate some of the original attributes from the 18th Century that the rest of the house offers. Since indoor plumbing hadn’t been invented for another 150 years, we saw this as a unique challenge to create a “what if” kind of space. We like how this turned out and the Owners love it. From the handmade wainscoting and cabinetry that was made right in our own workshop to the restored chandelier that the Owners found in the attic and the re-use of the original vanity top and mirror, you may just think the space had always been the, even before it could’ve been!
