Built in the mid-1990's by our client's family, this Colonial is now home to the 3rd generation. The original kitchen was built by our client's father and had seen years of family meals and holiday entertainment. but for a busy family of five, the space and flow no longer worked.

Our team got creative and reimagined the entire first floor. Now, their kitchen is the true heart of the home, ready for family dinners, game-day spreads, and holiday traditions for years to come.

This 1880 farmhouse has been home to a growing family who loves their neighborhood so much, even as their needs have outgrown the space. Over the years, they’ve made thoughtful updates, but now it’s time for their dream renovation.

Our team was brought in to reimagine the home and design a plan that works for today’s family life, adding a garage, primary suite, expanded kitchen, mudroom, and powder room, while also updating the existing full bath.

The result will honor the farmhouse’s history while creating the function and flow this family has been missing.

I recently visited longtime, repeat clients and stood in this very kitchen, now filled with kids’ art projects, high chairs, and a trail of Cheerios while lunch was being prepared for little ones. I haven’t stopped thinking about it since.

September gave us a little bit of everything—rest, adventure, celebrations, and meaningful work.

We started the month with a dream trip to Glacier National Park in Montana and Banff/Jasper in the Canadian Rockies. The beauty of those landscapes left us inspired and recharged. Just see the photos! (If you’ve been, or are planning to go, we’d love to swap recommendations!)

Back home, September was full of milestones—birthdays, anniversaries, and the exciting flow of wrapping up projects while starting new ones. It’s in those transitions that we’re reminded how fortunate we are to do this work.
