⭐ Ensuite Upgrade: The new primary bathroom is now connected to the primary bedroom, replacing the previous shared Jack-and-Jill bathroom setup with the guest room.

⭐ Functional Breezeway: A newly added breezeway now serves as both a mudroom and powder room, providing direct access from the garage to the house—a feature that didn't exist before.

⭐ Increased Home Value: We added a second full bathroom on the second floor, enhancing convenience and boosting the home’s value.

September is always a special month for us—filled with celebrations, from Jason’s and our son’s birthdays to both our work and wedding anniversaries. Plus- we got to meet the newest member of the family in our sweet newborn baby nephew.

As the month comes to a close, we’re also reflecting on some exciting things happening around here. We’re wrapping up a kitchen remodel in Canton, making progress on our own office bathroom addition, and gearing up for new kitchen and bathroom remodels, plus an exciting primary suite addition. We also can’t wait to reveal our new branding photos.

⭐Relocate washer/dryer currently in kitchen, to new laundry room in basement

⭐Replace single sink window to triple window, overlooking a beautiful backyard

This changes everything…

Knocking down walls between kitchens and their neighboring rooms isn’t always the answer. Sometimes, it’s adding one. And other times, it’s both, like this project.

We removed the wall between the kitchen and neighboring sitting room (with the bay window) to create room for a dream island and added a breakfast nook with a built in bench designed and built by Jason in front of the former bay window.

We also relocated the door to the bathroom (from the kitchen, to the hallway) replacing with a new wall for loads of pantry space.

Working hand-in-hand with our design team through the initial steps is crucial to reconfiguring a layout that works for your family.

Swipe right to see the transformation! 🤯 This stunning dining room was once a narrow, dark galley kitchen.

During our Design and Scope Development process, we realized that relocating the kitchen to an unused part of the home would allow us to convert the old kitchen into a spacious, open dining room. Now, it’s perfect for a family of five’s everyday needs and offers ample room for hosting holiday dinners or Sunday barbecues, especially with the convenient indoor-outdoor flow created by the sliding doors to the deck.

A quick personal story on this July 4th 🇺🇸

We feel so fortunate to celebrate every July at our family’s favorite log cabin in NH’s White Mountains. This year, we’re especially reminded of the legacy of two incredible people, Megan’s Uncle Paul and Aunt Sharon. They built this home with love and dedication, creating a haven for our family to celebrate and make lasting memories.

Though Aunt Sharon left us in 2022 and Uncle Paul just this past March, their spirit of family, celebration, and pride in our country lives on through us. They exemplified what it means to invest selflessly and generously in those closest to them.

As we celebrate this Independence Day, we honor their memory and the traditions they started. May we all remember and celebrate the Uncle Pauls and Aunt Sharons in our lives, whose love and dedication shape our family bonds and patriotic spirit.
