Built in the late 1800s, this Antique Colonial was specifically purchased by our clients for its authentic nod to true turn of the century craftsmanship. They bought it knowing it would need a lot of TLC and slowly, over the years, they have done just that. We’ve been fortunate to be invited into a couple of those projects, including the renovation of the front porch.
Our clients expressed interest in renovating the Dining Room, installing wainscotting to match what could have been found in similar, original homes in their historic neighborhood. Enter a custom molding design, installed about three-quarters of the way up the wall. To finish the wall, we installed a beautiful wallpaper and 4-piece crown with egg and dart molding we selected from the famed Anderson & McQuaid Co. in Cambridge, MA.
