Custom Built-Ins at Black Rock

Located in Hingham’s Black Rock community, this living room transformation was part of a larger interior renovation that also included a primary bathroom remodel and whole-home painting.

Our clients had long envisioned built-in cabinetry flanking the fireplace. The alcoves on either side of the fireplace had existed since they purchased the home, seemingly waiting to become functional storage and display space. We refreshed the fireplace with a new surround and lowered mantel, creating a more balanced focal point better suited for a television above. Custom built-ins, finished with warm walnut shelving, add both character and practicality while complementing the home’s indoor-outdoor connection through the expansive slider leading to the deck and patio beyond.
